Poetry People (aka, I'd ask Nightdog if I could)

I sat down to work on a Fandom Trumps Hate commitment, and what came out was the opening to a Neil Lives AU DPS fic. What? Yeah. Anyway.

What would a remarkable (first time in a generation) NYT Best Sellers list accomplishment be for a book of poetry? Hitting #1 at all? Hitting #1 for a certain number of weeks? I Googled but couldn't figure it out.

If it matters, the accomplishment happens in the mid 2010s.

Not a poetry person, but Rupi Kaur's collection "milk and honey" stayed on the NYT Bestseller list for 165 weeks.

(Edit: Apparently there's no separate NYT best seller list for poetry anymore; poetry is included with the trade books.)

It is? How odd.
Hmm, I know Amanda Gorman's first book of poetry made Amazon's bestseller list. If it didn't make NYT's her following books probably will.
