That's exactly what happened. House & Wilson woke up the next day, and they did laugh about how paranoid House had been. Then they set Jack up watching a DVD and had, ehem, parent time together with the bedroom door firmly closed. Afterwards, they all went to brunch, House had a few counseling sessions to put the past behind him, and they all lived lovingly ever after.
