I know some people on my f-list thought the male nurse House spoke to in episode 6-8 (the Thanksgiving ep) was gay. If you thought this, what specifically made you think it?

This discussion is valuable. The fact that the discussion is public is even more valuable. The fact that people who identify as both queer and straight are stating their opinions is a good thing, too, especially (as you can see downthread), people who identify as queer are disagreeing with each other. That reinforces what I'm saying about how differently issues like this are perceived. In fact, the reason I felt comfortable speaking up here is because you had previously reassured me that you would not negate my opinions.

It's a complicated issue. There is no way to be right. The questions you're asking don't have answers; they have long, winding discussions. I'm giving you my perspective on it. I thought the question was framed poorly considering the kind of information you were hoping to gather, but it's your journal and you can style your conversations however you want. I did want you to be able to see my point of view, however, and be able to see why the anecdata you get might be skewed by the way the question's framed.
