Ausiello had a very, very vague spoiler -- to the degree of "The script is very good," although that's not what was said -- for an upcoming episode of House, and it got me thinking.

Ausielllo said he heard that RSL "should start writing his Emmy speech now" for a specific future episode. If RSL couldn't even get a nomination for "Wilson's Heart," then what could be so dramatic and intense as to get him noticed by Emmy voters? Hm.

This is pure speculation, but what if, guys, what if they have RSL play Danny Wilson in an episode? O_O So many possibilities.

Please don't mention any other spoilers for episodes after 6-4 (the one from Mon 10/5 in the US) in comments.

The Emmys are definitely messed up, and I think RSL does himself no favors when he disdains TV acting in his interviews. That shouldn't have an impact on awards but Emmy voters are only human. Ah well.

BUT to capture attention for the Supporting Actor or Actress spot, you have to either have been in television a looooong time or your character has to go way over the top. That's why I thought of playing Danny. But you're right, it probably won't happen.

When did he do that? :s

Seems to me like he prefers theater acting than TV acting, but I don't remember him disdaining TV acting.

I say this in the context of adoring RSL, but he definitely disdains TV acting. The 10/13/08 TV Guide interview (he was on the cover with HL) where he rags on the actors on Law & Order is a good example. He's also said multiple times that he took the job on House for the money. I don't know to what extent he feels scorn for television but he comes across in interviews as being very dismissive.

I will admit, as a huuuuge RSL fan sometimes I feel he comes off as a bit of an ass in interviews. But that's why I love him so much, he isn't afraid to speak his mind and he is honest. If he doesn't like something he will say it loud and proud, it's nice to see an actor like himself who doesn't pretend that they love the whole world and everyone in it. I mean hell if someone offered me vastly amount of cash to star in a television drama I would be all like hell yeah, even if I thought it was crap, like dude it's free money!

I find Bobby to be more like, well us. Not (slightly crazy >:D) fans, but regular people. He's a celebrity, but yet not even close like one. He also has a great sense of humor and loves to fuck with people. This pleases me greatly. Also, I think when the show started to get all...well crappy in the season 5 he agreed. Like that one interview about Huddy, how he said he didn't like it (aka makes him sick to his stomach) and says that the fans don't like it.

Although really, he is so damn sexy and irresistible that I can't judge in him in any way. Damn those handsome looks, and sexy eyes, and smexy forearms, and cute dimples and that smile...as you can see I am ranting once more. :D
